Production on three continents

Kunststoff Helmbrechts AG

Injection molding

Tiny to large: With a total of 139 injection-molding machines the KH Group produces precision parts of 0.01 g to 2.500 g at five locations on three continents. Thin-wall injection molding, multi-component technology, hydraulic and all-electric machines – our equipment leaves nothing to be desired. A high degree of automation and the central material supply enable a stable-process production as a pre-requirement for top quality.

  1. Locking force: 1C to 400 t; 2C to 500 t; 3C to 150 t
  2. Automated production cells with camera inspection
  3. Sprue separation by laser in clean room
  4. Thin-wall technology
  5. Insert molding

A seamlessly installed display window in the centre of the black high gloss surface. Just one example of perfect transparent parts from KH. Entirely free of flow lines of course.

Transparent optical fibers, a black light seal and brighter keys. Three components make up this sophisticated part which is created in a cross-shaped lathe tool.

Decoration in the depths: The glass effect displays components with a special gloss. A transparent layer on the surface covers the decoration which has been applied by means of IMD or IML. For the skin-molding process, two plastic components are combined in layers.

SmartWave integrates electronics in a three-dimensionally formed plastic component with a wall thickness of only 2.5 mm and illustrates just what hybrid components are actually capable of today.
