Tiny to large: With a total of 139 injection molding machines the KH Group produces precision parts of 0.004g to 2.500g at five locations on three continents. Micro and thin-wall injection molding, multi-component technology, hydraulic and all-electric machines – our equipment leaves nothing to be desired. A high degree of automation and the central material supply enable a stable process production as a pre-requisite for top quality.

Clamping forces ranging from 15 to 1,000 tons, with one, two, or three injection units. Our machinery is designed with a focus on flexibility, precision, and maximum availability—so your project is in good hands with us.

When the part weighs a mere 0,004g and the wall is just 0,1mm thick, precision machines and tools are required. The latter are produced on our premises.

Sometimes there have to be two: At complex extraction and insert situations the robots perform a ballet dance.

In modern car keys, a robust housing encloses a soft plastic keypad that operates the electronics when pressed.

Three colors, three components: a black housing, translucent red elements and a transparent light guide with light-diffusing properties. The car door lighting is complete.

Multi-component technology enables the production of intricate seals combining rigid and soft plastics—as seen here in a medical application.

KH manufactures decorated housings and small in-ear components made from rigid or soft plastics for hearing aids. Key challenges include thin wall sections and undercuts.

Opposites attract: an upper component with a soft-touch coating sits atop a high-gloss base. The two parts are joined by an ultrasonic-welded infrared window.

In-Mold Labelling (IML)

Film technologies such as IML are the efficient, versatile all-rounders among decoration processes for injection-molded parts. They deliver both striking visual appeal and desired functionalities. KH has been active in in-mold decoration (film transfer printing) for decades and has established itself as a renowned top-five supplier in the field of in-mold labeling (film insert molding) through technical innovations. A key highlight is the integration of electronics directly into the component using printed conductive tracks and mounted electronic components.read more

capacitive operation


Through the capacitive operation of individual fields, it is possible to realize more functions on this component than would have been possible with buttons. That also saves costs.


 

Haptic feedback


Don’t take your eyes off the road. To ensure that the operation is still possible, the steering wheel provides haptic feedback with an adjustable intensity.


 

Vanishing effect


Only that which is required appears. With black panel vanishing effect, additional features can be activated for a particular time and switched off again.


FBB Technology


For the first time in mass production: With Function Foil Bonding (FFB), the functional foil is only applied to impeccable surface parts in the course of an additional process step.


 

Utrasonic welding


The light housing and housing for the reverse side circuit board are joined to form a water and dust tight unit. It is the best and most rational method.


 

Fingerguiding


To ensure that operation doesn’t distract from the road traffic: The individual areas of the steering wheel elements are structured with indentations and raised areas that provide orientation.
